March 30th, 2006 - Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems Supply Organization Honors Eight Suppliers
TEWKSBURY, Mass., March 30, 2006 - Eight suppliers were honored by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) during IDS' first Supplier Excellence Award recognition program March 29 for their exemplary performances in 2005. The companies assured on-time deliveries, quality and commitment to process improvement.
The eight suppliers honored were: Data Device Corporation of Bohemia, NY; Hydraflow of Fullerton, CA; Paramount Industries of Langhorne, PA; PerkinElmer, Inc., of Covina, CA, Piconics, Inc., of Tynbsboro, MA; Port Electronics Corporation of Salem, NH; Rockbestos of East Granby, CT; and Storm Products of Woodridge, IL.
"This is not about the amount of business you do with us or the specific product or expertise you bring to us. It is because you 'get it' and embrace our idea that performance matters", said Dan Smith, president of Raytheon IDS, and the keynote speaker. "Providing warfighters reliable and affordable capabilities is why we come to work. You contribute to that every day."
The companies provide Raytheon IDS with and array of critical products, such as microelectronics, integrated circuits, power modules, hose assemblies, cable assemblies, and DC to DC converters.
