Piconics JC series fixed inductors are a low cost rod core device, aimed at the commercial marketplace where high volume production, high reliability and low cost are required. The coils are constructed from a single piece of self-bonding wire with a temperature of -55° C to +125° C. They are supplied with a clear epoxy bonding. The leads are supplied not stripped or tuned, but are solder strippable. Their principal application is low cost commercial RF and IF amplifiers, thick and thin film add on components . This series can be converted to a transformer by additional taps and leads as required.

ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS:

  • Storage temperature: -55° C to +125° C
  • Operating temperature: -55° C to +125° C
  • Temperature rise (at 90° C): +35° C
  • Maximum operating temperature: +125° C

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Self-Leaded.
  • Solder Strippable.
  • Recommend pre-tinning of leads prior to circuit insertion.

NOTES:

  • Factory stripped leads will be stripped to within 0.100" of the body. Contact Piconics for stripping the leads closer to the coil body than 0.100".
