Since our successful entry into the Apollo Program in 1965, Piconics has designed and fabricated "high reliability" thin film circuits, thick film circuits and microelectronic inductive components for the aerospace and defense industries and commercial markets.

We are an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer and our military products meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-15305 and MIL-PRF-83446.  In-house environmental testing facilities assure that our products meet the above specifications.  Located in a 20,000 square-foot facility, of which 3,000 square feet is rated a class 10,000 clean room, designed with high volume manufacturing lines that afford quick turn around to better serve your product needs.  

Our well-equipped machine shop produces most of our specialized tooling and manufacturing equipment. Our test equipment consists of state-of-the-art instruments for measuring inductors and other reactive devices such as phase shifters, filters and delay lines. Our staff has extensive experience in all phases of microelectronics and has provided consulting services to many companies. 

Our manufacturing services are tailored to providing products designed to customer specifications.  Piconics manufactures circuits on a variety of substrates including alumina, beryllia, aluminum nitride, silica quartz and ferrites.  Coating process available are sputtered, electroless, or electroplated for conductors, resistors, via holes, wraparound and cross-over designs. 

We carry an extensive line of microminiature inductors to meet the needs of various circuit technologies including leaded devices for printed circuit applications.  Fixed and tunable leadless devices are useful in thick and thin film hybrids.  Our chip configuration devices are the answer for surface mount technology and hybrid circuitry.
